Remember to book early because accommodation in the heart of Coles Bay and close to transition will become fully booked. Swanwick (5min away), Bicheno (30min) and Swansea (45min) are the next available options.

Freycinet National Park

Freycinet National Park consists of knuckles of granite mountains all but surrounded by azure bays and white sand beaches. The dramatic peaks of the Hazards welcome you as you enter the park. Freycinet is effectively two eroded blocks of granite –  the Hazards and the Mt Graham/Mt Freycinet sections of the peninsula – joined by a sand isthmus.

Freycinet National Park offers a wide variety of activities. Take a walk to the pass overlooking the perfectly shaped Wineglass Bay, trek the entire length of the Freycinet Peninsula on an three day walk or try less strenuous activities like beach strolls, swimming or wildlife spotting.

Spring Vale Wines

A small 5th generation family owned vineyard since 1875, located in Cranbrook on Tasmania’s stunning Freycinet Coast.

At Spring Vale, our grapes are grown with an in depth knowledge of our local terroir.  Intimate attention to quality and flavour, allows us to produce premium, award-winning wines at our on-site winery.

The Cellar Door is open for wine sales and tastings 11am-4pm daily.

Freycinet Marine Farm

Located on Coles Bay Rd, the Freycinet Marine Farm grow Pacific Oysters in the estuarine areas and Tasmanian Blue Mussels in the fully marine areas. Taste some of Tasmania’s best fresh seafood – enjoyed fresh on our deck or taken away. Oysters and mussels harvested fresh from our farm daily, scallops, abalone and rocklobster, salmon sourced from local fisherman.

Hobart

Brewery Tour & Tasting

Taste Moo Brew six days a week at Mona (The Museum of Old and New Art), 655 Main Rd. Berriedale (closed Tuesdays).

You can enjoy a tasting at Cellar Door (open between 9.30am and 5pm Wednesday — Monday), or experience Moo Brew onsite at the Wine Bar, the Source Restaurant, Museum Cafe and the Void Bar.
